March Teaching Series

There is a crazy phenomenon that happens in the lives of many middle school students. Although we are not always sure of the cause, there does seem to be an increase in occurrences each year. For some it happens at their locker or in the hallway, for others it may occur at lunch or in math class. However, no matter the location the end result remains the same. You see that guy. You notice that girl. And before you know it, it hits you like a ton of bricks and you are suddenly…LOVESTRUCK! Our Lovestruck series will be dedicated to the most requested topic by our Jr. High students…relationships with the opposite gender! Throughout the month of March we hope to discover what God’s word says about relationships with the opposite gender, dating and how we can pursue His wisdom and purpose for this area of our lives. You won’t want to miss a single weekend of this series!

Important note to parents: We are always fully behind you on your decisions regarding your child and dating. The purpose of this series is to come alongside you and support you in those decisions. Our hope is that we will be able to provide your students with a godly perspective on relationships and challenge them to live that out. From a personal perspective, I don't think any Junior High student should be more than just friends with the opposite sex. Thanks for letting us partner with you in caring for your student!  - Becky Fitch, Jr. High Director
